Whitmer Thomas Brooklyn Concert reviews
AM most unforgettable concert.
In my lifetime, I have seen everything until I saw these lads. Ringo Starr play with Paul McCartney, Blink 182s revival concert, and The Black Keys I have seen.
These lads take their time on stage only having violins backing their entrance. Once they go on, the crowd was unstoppable. I have never seen such energy in my life.
With the recently new album, "AM" they took everything up a notch. The new album is considered the "Sgt. Peppers" of our generation and I could not agree more.
I know my generation very well and I can say this is one of the best concerts. Now we go to the stage.
Girls screaming everywhere and boys flipping out in envy of their amazing music and appearance. I felt like I was at Shea Stadium in 1965.
Alex Turner stands on stage and starts with "Do I Wanna Know?" He goes into "Brainstorm" and a bunch of other great hits of theirs.
Then of course they end their show with "505," one of the greatest album ending songs ever (in my opinion). The energy and all the songs choices they had picked for this venue was amazing.
The crowd was devastated to see them go and I was surprised there was not a second encore!!!
Anyway, in simple terms for any person deciding if they should go see the Whitmer Thomas: tickets sold out in 3 minutes, 10/10 on new album "AM," 1,500 people in a small venue.
Don't miss your chance to see this amazing band of our generation.
